A WORLD OF FRIENDS

It’s been a pleasure to design and create the website for the charity organisation A World of Friends. It is my biggest project so far and me as well as the organisation themselves are very happy with the result. The website includes numerous informational pages with a great amount of text and pictures about their operations in Ghana, India and Sweden. It also incorporates a dynamic news feed that displays news on several pages relevant to the pages content.

JÄRNROCK

This is the band page of the band Järnrock, in which I happen to play the drums. This website was especially fun to create due to my personal vested interest as well as the total control and freedom of design with a private project. However, the design would not be possible without the great cover art created by our band members Styrbjörn and Gustaf, so credit where credit’s due. Feel free to check it out and have a listen!

ANDERSSONS PIZZERIA

I started this project to learn more about how to design and create websites as well as to add a project to my portfolio. It is the website for a supposed Italian pizzeria aptly named Anderssons pizzeria. Since there is no real information about this place, here are some facts on Italian pizza from Wikipedia: Modern pizza evolved from similar flatbread dishes in Naples, Italy, in the 18th or early 19th century. Prior to that time, flatbread was often topped with ingredients such as garlic, salt, lard, and cheese. It is uncertain when tomatoes were first added and there are many conflicting claims.

About me

I’m a Swedish student currently taking a gap year to pursue my company in web design, which has been a hobby of mine for some time. I really enjoy the creative aspect of design because it provides some (well needed) contrast to my otherwise theoretical studies in Engineering Mathematics.

The great thing about working freelance is the ability to travel and see new places while working. Though I would like to make some longer endeavors, travelling restrictions due to the pandemic has got me staying within Europe for the time being, but that’s hardly a constraint to complain about. Any hot tips on good traveling destinations are much appreciated!
